What a find, even if way out of season!! Seriously, such a beautiful cove to come across on any coastal walk. Not only is Rocky Valley stunning, but then you have this beach, and I will be back..! What more could you wish for on our North coast: caves galore, rock arches, fresh water pools, beautiful turquoise waters, stunning cliff vistas everywhere…! ⚠️ However, this cove comes with an access warning ⚠️ It is NOT the easiest access by far and not suitable for anything other than what you can carry on your back! The path is thin with shaley slippery grit, the slate rock is very slippery, there is no room for more that one person at a time and when you safely reach the end of the slippery rock there is another steep cliff rope path to navigate!! I found it fun (safely), but serious consideration is needed prior to access!! Remember.. Steel only moments, take only memories, but leave only footprints!! 👣 No lifeguards, no facilities. Parking on the main road above, if you are early!
