Constantine Bay is a spacious sandy beach west of Padstow, popular with families and surfers. The beach is well-known for its consistent Atlantic swells, making it highly regarded among surf enthusiasts and offering suitable conditions for both beginners and experienced surfers.
Rocky outcrops and extensive dunes provide sheltered areas and add to the natural scenery, while low tide reveals numerous rock pools ideal for exploring. The water quality is generally good, but care is advised as strong currents can occur, especially at low tide.
Facilities include public toilets, a seasonal lifeguard service, a nearby café, and access to surf lessons. The surrounding area is largely unspoilt, contributing to the beach’s laid-back atmosphere.
The South West Coast Path runs close by, offering scenic walks and views of the surrounding coastline.
