Portreath Beach is a sandy beach situated at the mouth of the Red River in the historic village of Portreath, west Cornwall. The beach is backed by a small promenade, harbour, and the village itself, offering convenient access to local shops and cafés.

The beach is popular for its strong surf, particularly at the harbour wall, and attracts bodyboarders and surfers alike. The backdrop of high cliffs and distinctive rock formations provides a scenic setting, while the presence of rock pools adds interest for families during low tide.

Dogs are banned on the main beach from 10am to 6pm from July 1 to August 31. Dogs are allowed outside of these times and dates.
